OGP was engaged by ENGIE to participate in the study on the Kwinana co-generation auxiliary boiler installation and assess its feasibility. Our responsibilities included:
OGP’s extensive experience in Oil & Gas allowed us to accurately assess and define the availability of LPG and refined fuel gas (RFG). This understanding was crucial in balancing the customer’s steam requirements with the demands of the electricity market. By collaborating closely with the client, relevant stakeholders, and the WA electricity market operator, OGP was able to identify and present a viable technical solution valued at approximately $11M. We achieved this while carefully considering CAPEX costs for the client and evaluating and finalising project’s economic viability.
