The OGP Solution

OGP delivered a comprehensive outage management solution by effectively coordinating and overseeing all aspects of the project, including:

  • Coordinating with outage leads to prepare and update the outage schedule.
  • Track outage activities and update the outage leader on the critical path activities.
  • Prepare resources histogram to assign resources to activities.
  • Provide work plans for outage leads to carry out activities at the site.
  • Led the mechanical engineering (BOP) workstream to undertake outage activities at the site.
  • Undertake quality inspections and close work permits.

The Outcome

OGP Group’s extensive experience in power generation enabled us to assume responsibility for the mechanical engineering (BOP) outage works when ENGIE's lead mechanical engineer was incapacitated due to COVID. Despite the challenges, we successfully completed the outage on time, ensuring the units were brought back online as scheduled.
